Our Mission
Sharing Henry B. Plant's passion and vision for the growth of the Tampa Bay area, Josh and Reesha founded the Plant Workshop as a personalized resource for small business owners.
The Plant Workshop provides the tools and knowledge necessary to stimulate the growth of small businesses, which in turn cultivates the health of the communities in which they are rooted.
Inspiration
The Plant Workshop attributes its inspiration to two sources:

First,
is the process by which plants grow in nature. Many similarities exist between the requirements necessary for plant growth and those necessary for business growth. The Plant Workshop helps connect businesses to the proven, natural growth process.
Second,
is the innovation and forward thinking exemplified by Tampa native, Henry B. Plant. Mr. Plant was a businessman, an entrepreneur and an investor who helped grow Tampa Bay through his vision and passion.

Josh is the workshop's analytical mind. Josh studied economics at Cornell University and holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of South Florida. Josh has held several managerial titles during his professional career, including relationship manager, product manager and program manager, for several of the world's largest financial and technological organizations. Reesha
Mercedes
Reesha is the workshop’s creative spirit and marketing aficionado. Reesha has managed marketing departments for companies with asset portfolios exceeding $3.5 billion and has developed marketing materials for clients working in a wide range of industries, including commercial real estate, green technology and fashion. Reesha has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Media Communications and Digital Culture & Technologies from Saint John Fisher College. Get to know Reesha.
